Eugene - Euridice (Traditional Chinese: 悠珍; French: Saint-Eugène-d'Eurydice; 2010 population 849) is the fifth parish in the former Alphabet County, counting from the City of Borden, in Gravenhurst Region, in the Imaginary Lands of Nicholas. It is part of the Caledonia Census Agglomeration. It is the only municipality in Gravenhurst Region completed surrounded, or enclaved, by another. The parish is enclaved within the Township of Dever - Dovercourt, and is part of the Alphabet Belt.

The area of the parish is 60.18 squared km.

As part of the formerly Alphabet County, Eugene - Euridice was the fifth parish created within the county. Created in 1733, Eugene - Euridice was created 8 years after the creation of Caithness - Caledonia.

Eugene - Euridice used to be a boomtown, and a major trading centre in the area before Caithness - Caledonia became the new urban centre. In the early 1900s, the town's population peaked near 48,000, just second to the Archemedes - Borden Agglomeration. In 1911, the Great Fire of Eugene - Euridice wiped out the suburban developments of the town, killing almost 30,000. The north end, and the south end of the town turned into rubbles. The residents were arranged a temporary residence in Caithness - Caledonia, but many settled there, and never returned to the town.

In the mid 1900s, when the "émigré" movement occurred, when people moved out of the county to bigger counties such as what is now Gravenhurst Region, the parish further decreased the population. In 1976, after Alphabet County merged into Gravenhurst Region, Eugene - Euridice was assigned as a "parish".

Though seems unfitting to its current population, Eugene - Euridice has two office buildings, about 6 stories high, and one hotel, about 5 stories high. They are located in Downtown Euridice, built back in the days when the population was up high in the 40,000s.

The parish is currently ranks 27th out of 42 in terms of population in Gravenhurst Region.

Township FacilitiesEdit

The township is equipped with a community centre, formerly a church in the north end of the suburb. The parish office is located at 1 Main Street Euridice South.

A future GO Train station will be built on the Golden Corridor Line to serve the community.

Otherwise, the community is served by Mapleview Transit.
