Guelph South (2010 population 198) is a township in Gravenhurst Region, Imaginary Lands of Nicholas. The township consists of several smaller communities, with James Barrie being the largest community. The township registered a strong growth in the past few years due to the rapid urban sprawl from the City of Archemedes. The township doubled its population within the last 3 censuses. It is currently the thirty-first largest municipality out of forty-one in the region population-wise.
The township received its name Guelph South because the geographic centre of the township is located exactly 100 km south of the centre of the township of Guelph.
The township spans over an area of 155.09 square kilometer.
