Les Montagnes-de-Laurier (Traditional Chinese: 羅威爾山; 2015 September est. population 58) is a township (canton) in northern Watersauga, with its town centre approximately 47 km north of Elgin Mills. Currently, Les Montagnes-de-Laurier is the northernmost settlement in Watersauga. Like other communities in the Secteur français de Watersauga, the township is primarily French-speaking.
So far, Les Montagnes-de-Laurier is not connected to the rest of Watersauga's road network. Currently, the only road access to the community is via the highway network of the neighbouring Greater McCallister to the north. Work is in progress to connect Watersauga Highway 10 to the community. The construction is expected to finish by late-2015, and opening to traffic by 2016.
On 29 October 2015, a 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck the area. According to the National Meteorology Bureau of the Imaginary Lands of Nicholas (NMBILN), the quake's epicentre was located 2.9 km SSW of the community, and had a depth of 4.9 m.
