Nobleton - Nouveauville (Summer 2010 population 354) is a township in Gravenhurst Region in the Imaginary Lands of Nicholas. Nobleton - Nouveauville is located northwest of the City of Mapleview, and southwest of Nazareth. It is a part of the Mapleview Census Metropolitan Area, and a part of the Alphabet Belt.
The township is bordered by the Louisiana Parkway (Highway 22) to the west, and this serves as a major transportation corridor for the town. It is also an artery to connect with the City of Mapleview, as well as to the rest of the region.
The township is commonly regarded as the maximum extent of urban area of the Mapleview Census Metropolitan Area before reaching the abandoned developments of the Alphabet Belt again (which is located on the west side and the north side of the township).
The township, like most other parishes on the Alphabet Belt, is named with two components, for the two distinct communities in town, Nobleton and Nouveauville.
Another community, Concide, exists within the township's boundaries, but it is not incorporated in the township's name.
Once affected by the emigre movement, which almost made the parish a ghost town, the township's strategic position near Mapleview, an important commercial hub in the area, kept the township alive and survived as a bedroom community to Mapleview.
The parish obtained a township status in 1984. With growing pressures from the City of Mapleview, the township is creating several housing projects to accommodate growth needs in the area. The township is also the least developed in the four member municipalities of the census metropolitan area, due to its position being the furthest away from the City of Mapleview.
Louisiana Highway forms a major connection to the township. Various rural sidelines and roads may be used to access to different, scattered communities across the township's landscape.
The township is the 32nd largest in the region of Gravenhurst according to the Summer 2010 Census. The township's official is estimating a population of 550 in 2012, up from 354 in Summer 2010.
Though unofficial, the township boasts a sister city status with Noble City in the Pacific-Island nation of Lovia, since both of the cities share the same name. This can be seen in the welcoming sign of the township.
However, Noble City, a city of 100 times larger, currently has not responded to the proposed twinning.
